Using Templates in Videospan
Templates help your team create consistent, on-brand videos—automatically.
They include your logo, colors, fonts, intros/outros, and overlays, so every video your team produces looks and feels like your brand.
What Are Templates?
Templates in Videospan define how your videos look and sound.
They include:
Brand logo and watermark
Font and color palette
Intro/outro animations
Lower-thirds and overlays
Music and caption styles
When a user uploads or records a video, the template automatically applies your brand standards.
Accessing Templates
Log in to your Videospan account.
Click Templates Manager from the left-hand menu.
You’ll see two types of templates:
Tip: Admins can manage and edit templates. Basic users can apply them when submitting or generating videos.
Creating a New Template
(Admins only)
Click Create Template.
Choose a format (16:9, 9:16, or 1:1).
Upload brand assets:
Logo (PNG/SVG)
Intro/outro clips (MP4 or MOV)
Overlays or lower-thirds
Select your brand colors and fonts.
(Optional) Add default captions styles, background music, bumpers, overlays and more
Save and assign your template to a team or sub-account.
Applying a Template to a Video
When capturing or uploading content:
During the Collection Creati, choose a Template from the dropdown.
Videospan automatically applies your brand look—logo, intro/outro, overlays, and captions.
Editing or Duplicating Templates
Go to Manage Templates.
Select a template and click Edit or Duplicate.
Make your updates and save.
Changes apply to all future videos that use that template (existing videos remain unchanged).
Best Practices
Use clear template names (e.g., Corporate 16:9, Social Vertical).
Keep high-quality, transparent assets.
Test templates in multiple aspect ratios before publishing.
Encourage teams to use templates instead of editing manually.
