In this short video, we’ll walk you through:

  • Setting up your brand elements

  • Adding intros/outros and overlays

  • Customizing captions and background audio

  • Saving and assigning your new template

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open the Templates Section

From your left-hand menu, select Template ManagerCreate Template.
If you don’t see this option, confirm that you have Admin permissions.

2. Add Basic Details

Under Name & Aspect Ratio, set up the foundation of your template:

  • Template Name: Use a clear name like “Corporate 16:9” or “Social Vertical 9:16.”

  • Aspect Ratio: Choose from 16:9 (landscape), 9:16 (vertical), or 1:1 (square).

  • Default Object Fit: Choose Cover to fill the frame or Contain to preserve borders.

  • Overflow Background: Select your brand color or upload a background image.

3. Add Branding Elements

Under Overlays & Watermarks:

  • Upload your Logo Watermark (PNG/SVG with transparency).

  • Add any Overlays such as borders or frames.

  • (Optional) Include B-Roll clips for dynamic visual transitions.

Tip: Keep overlays light and logos semi-transparent to avoid distraction.

4. Customize Captions and Lower Thirds

Make sure all on-screen text matches your brand style:

  • Set your Font, Color, and Position for captions.

  • Configure Lower Thirds with name/title text animations.

  • Use brand fonts for consistency across all videos.

5. Add Bumpers and Audio

Complete your brand story:

  • Intro/Outro Bumpers: Upload short branded video clips (under 5 seconds).

  • Background Audio: Add a track and adjust volume to blend under dialogue.

6. Save and Assign the Template

Click Save Template. The template will now be available in collections and can be automatically applied to any video collected, recorded, or uploaded.

Best Practices

  • Name templates by campaign or channel (e.g., “Thought Leadership – LinkedIn”).

  • Use high-resolution transparent logos.

  • Test across multiple aspect ratios before rollout.

  • Keep intros and outros under 5 seconds for best viewer retention.
